An island of greenery in the heart of Jard sur mer: our exceptional location allows you to benefit from all the services of the seaside resort on foot, without taking your car. Within a radius of 500m, you have access to the marina, beaches, all shops, bars, restaurants, bakeries, markets, departures of walks or bike. The campsite is shaded under pine trees, in a natural and peaceful setting, it is not uncommon to cross deer or squirrels at the bend of an alley. We have beaut... iful plots for tents, caravans or motorhomes, as well as various accommodations: mobile homes ( 1,2,3 or 4 bedrooms), ecolodges and even trailers... On site: restaurant, heated pool, playgrounds, wifi.

Despite my lack of French, all staff tried there best to assist, Cabin was clean and fresh, site was always clam and everyone appeared happy.

Loved the trees and dune setting. Facilities generally clean though there was no hot water for two days. Pool was great though play area limited for our children (age 5 -12). Friendly staff. Great to be able to walk into the lovely Jard sur Mer and there was a great, lively atmosphere in the town when we arrived with DJs, moules frites being served from a marquee and lots of dancing and merriment. Beach was okay, but we enjoyed the beaches further away. Easy to get to supermarket and other local amenities.
Loud music from the town did go on late into the night - difficult to settle the kids.

A wonderfully located site offering a good mix of sunshine and shade. Less than 10 minutes walk into the main town and 5 minutes walk to the port and restaurants. The amenities are good - clean swimming pool with sun loungers, laundry room and on site restaurant; all of which we used. There are toilet and shower blocks which looked clean and well maintained although we did not need to use them. The reception staff are very helpful and speak English. Thoroughly recommended especially for its location in relation to local amenities and the Vendee in general.

Our accommodation had everything we needed. It was basic but sufficient for 2; I think we would have struggled with 4. My wife and I are experienced caravanners and it was fine for us. The shower was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.
The furnishings could do with refreshing and the bedroom was small - the bed took up a lot of room!

The mobile home was well placed in the shadow of the trees so it didn't overheat. And both the beach and the town amenities are within a comfortable walking distance!
The bad was squeaky and my back hurt every morning after a night on the soft mattress :-)
